Provider of Assistive Technology in Southern Nevada

Easter Seals Southern Nevada (ESSN) is excited to announce their assistive technology program in Southern Nevada.  The assistive technology program is an integral part of helping people with disabilities meet their ultimate independence.  Assistive technology provides people with disabilities the tools they need to access employment, education and recreation and with those needs met, the road to independence is achievable.  ESSN’s CEO has sixteen years experience in the assistive technology field and the Director of the program has been providing assistive technology services for four years and has formed great relationships with providers in southern Nevada.   Relationships with the Blind Center, the Bureau of Services to the Blind, the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, and the University of Nevada Las Vegas will help reach a wide variety and number of people who need these services to obtain employment, receive an education or to assist with daily living.   Partnering with the successful employment program already in place, ESSN will take services to the next level and will help meet a great need in the community. 

  Easter Seals Southern Nevada (ESSN) is expanding access to Assistive Technology for children and adults with disabilities in Southern Nevada.  We are accomplishing this by providing a person and family centered approach to Evaluation, installation and training on Assistive technology. 

Assistive Technology (AT) is any product or device that can be used by a person with a disability to gain access to home, school, work or recreation.  These products may be as simple as modified eating utensil or as tech based as voice input for commuter access.  Easter Seals has over 80 years of experience serving children and adults with disabilities and locally over 20 years of combined experience providing AT services. 

The Assistive Technology Assessment, Demonstration and Training Center employs the highest quality staff in the State of Southern Nevada.  Our team includes an Assistive Technology Specialist, Rehabilitation Counselor, Computer Access Specialist,
